Welcome to 'Jackie Chambers Reflexology'
My name is Jackie and I am a Reflexologist based in the tranquil North Bedfordshire village of Felmersham, not far from Bedford.
Reflexology is a wonderful complementary therapy which can be helpful in so many ways. Whether you are looking for help in managing an existing condition, looking for ways of coping with the day to day stress and tension modern life can bring, to maintain health and wellbeing, or just a one off treat, Reflexology has something to offer you.
People seek out Reflexology for many specific reasons too; headaches and migraine; sleep problems; digestive problems; hormonal problems; and of course stress and tension. All may benefit from regular Reflexology treatments.
If you'd like to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact me anytime by telephone, e-mail or via Facebook.
Where am I?
My Reflexology therapy room is based in the North Bedfordshire village of Felmersham, c7 miles North-West of Bedford.
Whilst Felmersham is a small village, it is easily accessible from Bedford. Also nearby are the towns of Sharnbrook (c2 miles), Rushden (c8 miles) and Olney (c9 miles).
The villages in North Bedfordshire are quiet places. You won't have to deal with lots of traffic, trying to find somewhere to park, and then walking to your appointment once you have parked. Off road parking is available right outside!
I am open Monday to Friday, by appointment, between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
Early evening appointments are available on Wednesdays between 5.30pm and 7.30pm and on Fridays between 5.00pm and 6.30.pm.
Gentlemen by referral only.
A little bit about me
I first discovered Reflexology around 20 years ago. I was fascinated by how it worked, so much so that I trained as a Reflexologist. At the time, I trained out of personal interest more than anything else.
After leaving work to bring up my family, I found myself in a position where I was able to turn an interest into something more.
Being such a long time since my original studies, I retrained to make sure I was up to date with current methods and practices, and also to gain a currently recognised qualification so that clients can be confident that I am able to offer Reflexology to the highest standards.
I qualified as a Reflexologist with The Academy of Reflexology and Massage, near Holcot, Northampton. Here I gained my 'ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology'.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. This means that I adhere to their strict guidelines to provide Reflexology to the highest standards for professional excellence. I also agree to abide by their 'Code of Practice' and have confirmed to them I am insured to practice. I also hold an up to date First Aid certificate.
